What We Dive Into

Catch up as Anthony and I talk about me getting humbled by the internet after mispronouncing Tadej Pogačar’s name while breaking down his Whoop biological age data. Turns out cycling fans do not forgive easily.

From there, the we get into one of the most divisive topics in endurance sports right now: athletes using peptides like BPC-157 for recovery, sparked by Cameron Hanes and Mike McKnight going public. We talk where’s the line between pros, recreational athletes on TRT, and people just trying to stay healthy enough to race?

Then IRONMAN cancels another swim, continuing a summer trend of pulled swims across multiple races. We debate whether that’s the responsible call or an overcorrection, and float (pun intended) a simple fix: just let age-groupers wear a buoy at that point.

We also announce two new Front Pack video projects — our first docuseries, The Long Way Up, and a new gear review format called Snack Run.

Plus this week’s gear rundown: Salomon Genesis 2 trail shoes, The North Face Summit Collection, the Nix Biosensor sweat test, and ProMix supplements.
