👋 Good morning and happy Friday! Welcome to the Front Pack newsletter, your source for all things endurance. Click here for the web edition.

This last weekend I took a 2-hour roadtrip west to meet with athletes towing the line in a smaller race.

My goal was to shake hands, introduce myself and talk to them about Front Pack. Needless to say, it was exhilarating and at times intimidating. I felt like I was in grade school all over again but instead of showing off my action figures, I was introducing something most had never heard of.

It was uncomfortable and just what I needed. I rehashed our value prop over and over again.

We’re building a special online destination for endurance athletes to tell their unique story, stay motivated, and feel supported – not just in sport but life! We offer weekly education with experts and every member can network socially or professionally in the platform.

After giving away 200+ cards and stickers, one theme stuck out; everyone was really happy to meet and talk to me. Though some at first were closed off and wondered, why the hell is this guy approaching me, I’ve got to say, once I started explaining what it was we are doing, they were like… hell yea. hell yea, man. This is very cool.

Will that translate into new members?

Only time will tell but my confidence was left intact.

My point being. Get uncomfortable. All too often we do not have any appetite to feel that nervous pit in our stomach. And I get that.

But just maybe, your fears aren’t actually real and you’ll come across some pretty cool new people or opportunities.

Stay moving…✌🏼 Scott
