Damn. This looks good. Salomon x PAS do it again.

Salomon and Pas Normal Studios are back for a sixth round.

Confession time. Around here, Pas Normal Studios has always been the brand we side-eye at the group ride. IYKYK and their stuff may be the best in cycling, or maybe its just branding but let me set the scene. Cycling’s snootiest corners spend big on PAS, and we’ve never been shy about staying in front of those people on a group ride. Plus, we’ve always been more MAAP guys, here.

So it pains us a little to say this: the new PAS x Salomon collab is pretty dope.

From Cyclist to Runner

The sixth Salomon x PAS capsule lands on November 5, and it’s built around something we all suffer through each year on the endurance calendar: the off-season. Where we cyclists trade the bike for cold-weather miles on foot and PAS is bringing the clean Scandinavian design direction, and Salomon is bringing the alpine performance know-how. Three pieces make up the drop.

The headliner is the AERO BLAZE 4 GRVL GTX, a winterized take on the recently launched Aero Blaze 4 GRVL. It keeps the optiFOAM² cushioning and the gravel-specific Contagrip outsole, then adds a GORE-TEX membrane so wet, sloppy, mixed-terrain days don’t turn into soggy-sock days.

The colors are muted and earthy, very PAS, with browns and coffee tones and just enough contrast to keep things interesting.

Next up is the GRAVEL CONCEPT SKIN 2 vest, which pairs Salomon’s long track record with fit, stability, and hydration with a minimalist Nordic design language. Two soft flasks up front, a chest zip pocket, and a build meant for everything from your usual loop to longer off-road wanderings.

Rounding it out is the S/LAB BELT, the tidy, bounce-free option for when a full vest feels like overkill. Think keys, gels, and phone, with quick access and nothing flapping around.

Why this one hits different for us

The earlier PAS x Salomon work leaned experimental, including the carbon-plated GRVL Concept.

Cool? Sure.

Everyday-athlete cool? Less so.

This drop is the practical sibling: a shoe built for daily training in lousy conditions, reflective details for dark winter miles, and gear that works as hard as it looks.

And we can get behind that. Most of us aren’t chasing podiums. We’re lacing up before work in the cold, in the dark, in whatever the weather decides to throw at us, and a waterproof, grippy, good-looking shoe fits that reality much better than a showpiece. But it has to be quality and that is what makes this collaboration good. Both put are really nice stuff and a shoe has to survive the elements and miles to make it worth trekking through snow and rain.

Good on this marriage.

Prices and Where to Get It

The full Pas Normal Studios x Salomon capsule drops November 5, 2026, on the Pas Normal Studios and Salomon website, at PAS flagship stores, and through select global retail partners.

On the PAS US site, the listed prices are $180 for the AERO BLAZE 4 GRVL GTX, $210 for the GRAVEL CONCEPT SKIN 2 vest, and $70 for the S/LAB BELT.

The shoe runs in full and half sizes, and the vest and belt come in XS through XL.

If you want a heads-up before it goes live, PAS has a sign-up on the collection page.

So yes, we’re eating a little crow and the snobs got us this time. If you are a cyclists who runs, this one is for you.
