Sweatpals Becomes the Offical Hyrox Athlete Connection

After Amazon, Puma and Amazfit; the community app with 2M users might be the most important HYROX partner yet.

We’ve watched HYROX stack up some serious partnerships. Amazon. Puma. Amazfit.

Big names, big budgets, big logos everyone knows.

So when we heard Sweatpals was being named as HYROX’s newest North American partner, our first read was, well, cute.

When we think of the social fitness app, we think of morning raves and cold plunge meetups. Nice, but is it a HYROX-sized partner?

Then we read into it more and changed our minds.

The News

The deal has two pieces working together. The first is a title sponsorship across North America.

Sweatpals is now an Official Partner of North America and Official Title Partner of HYROX Miami. The marquee moment is Sweatpals HYROX Miami Beach 2027, where Sweatpals debuts as title sponsor. Miami has a large number of Sweatpals communities, so the fit is obvious.

The second piece is the one that matters most. Sweatpals is now the Official Event Platform of HYROX365, deploying a white-label solution that plugs directly into the HYROX Performance HUB and extends the HYROX Training Finder.

Through it, affiliate gyms can create, promote and manage training sims, training events and open gym sessions, with bookings, day passes, payments and member acquisition handled end to end.

Athletes find and book those sessions through the Training Finder.

What Changed Our Mind

Sweatpals says it has 2 million Pals and tens of thousands of communities on their platform.

Bruh. what? We remember when they first launched and they’ve grown impressively.

No longer are they a small startup trying to gain credibility through a partnership. They’re a real platform with real reach, and HYROX is plugging into it. Has to feel good. The scale on the HYROX side matches with races in more than 30 countries, six continents, and a network of 20,000 affiliate gyms.

Why it Works for Both Partners

Sweatpals is going to see a bump in users. Every affiliate gym that lists an event through the platform brings its own members along, and every athlete who books a sim through the Training Finder lands in Sweatpals. That’s a massively smart get. In just a few months, Sweatpals could exponentially grow its base and revenue; something most apps would spend years and a fortune trying to buy.

HYROX gets what looks like the last missing link. The sport already has the events, the athletes and the gyms. What’s been thin is the connective tissue between race days: the group chats, the training partners, the reason to show up on a random Tuesday at a gym you’ve never been to. Gyms get a way to fill their floors and make money year-round, and athletes get one place to train, book and belong.

As Sweatpals CEO Salar Shahini put it, community doesn’t stop at the finish line. It’s a corny line but he’s not wrong. Sweatpals is filling the gap of what happens between race day.

Our Thoughts

This is actually cool on paper but our brain goes to what the UX is like in practice because that will be huge. A really seamless white-label booking and payments layer inside the Training Finder matters because for some users, this will be the first time they’ve ever interacted with Seatpals before.

Closely tied to that is adoption is another thing that stood out. HYROX’s CEO talks about giving “thousands of gyms” the tools to attract participants and host events year-round, but the real test is how many of the 20,000 affiliates actually use them. 20K is massive. How many take the plunge?

Then finally, there’s Miami Beach 2027, where Sweatpals debuts as title sponsor. The release promises more integrations and community activations in the lead-up and beyond race day, with details to come in the coming months, so that’s where we’ll see what this partnership looks like in person. I’ve actually got no doubt they’re crush this because that’s what they built their business on, but I’d love to see it all go down.

The bottom line is that this isn’t a logo-on-a-banner deal but matters a lot more. It’s infrastructure, it’s athlete-to-athlete-to-gym connection, and its the thing HYROX does best (race day) with the thing that’s been harder for them to build (everything in between).

Excited to see. Just don’t call me, pal.
