Black Crystal is a considerable upgrade from the original PACE 4. The aluminum alloy bezel is finished using Physical Vapor Deposition, a process that bonds the coating at a molecular level for lasting resistance to sweat, salt, and the wear of everyday training. On the lugs, two-tone injection molding adds a translucent, layered quality that goes well beyond a standard polymer finish — a detail athletes will notice up close and others will notice from a distance.
The silicone band carries the same attention to craft: a silk-screened ripple design, heat-cured directly into the surface for a permanent, high-definition finish that won’t fade or peel over time.
