Announcing, Front Pack Media

An athlete-first media company covering health, wellness, endurance, and the long game of performance.

I’m so pumped for what’s next because its the next step in a movement we’ve been building for three years — and honestly, it’s the breakthrough we’ve been working toward the whole time.

Front Pack started as a newsletter. Just honest coverage of what was actually happening across endurance, health, and performance. No fluff. No filler. That grew into an online community Axios called “the LinkedIn for endurance athletes.”

That community helped us grow to 50,000+ newsletter subscribers and 225,000 monthly impressions.

We’ve always been proud to serve this coalition, because we believe it’s a space where weekend warriors and driven professionals alike can find the news, reviews, and industry analysis they need to reach their next level. Now, we’re proud to launch a platform that each one of our readers so deeply deserves.

Today we launched, Front Pack Media.

Most Health & Performance Content Misses the Mark

There’s more content in health, wellness, and endurance than ever before. And most of it doesn’t put in the effort where it counts.

It’s written by generalists covering this space the same way they’d cover a TV or a teeth whitening kit.

It’s tested for a week, published, and forgotten. Worse, it’s estimated that only 38% of new content online is written by a human. The rest is volume-optimized, AI-generated, or simply not real.

We’ve always been different, and now we’ve built the platform to prove it.

Our team of contributors are adventurers & runners, cyclists, coaches, and triathletes. People balancing training, careers, and families. People who care about performance and longevity — and who understand that showing up well in sport means showing up well in life.

We’re not here to recap races and we’re not here to flood your inbox.

We’re here to curate what actually matters — the news, and product launches worth paying attention to. The ideas that shift an industry, how you think about training, and the people building something real in this space.

What’s Changing

The newsletter isn’t going anywhere. If anything, it will become more important in keeping athletes up to date on health, wellness, endurance, and perfromance.

But we are going from “oh, you run a newsletter” to “You’re a media company!”

We’ve spent the last three months building the site, the brand, and the infrastructure to close that gap. Now you can now go to the site and get direct access to industry news, exclusive content, gear reviews from real athletes, videos, brand discounts, and interviews with top and everyday athletes, executives, & brands.

The result is a cleaner, faster, and simpler way to stay informed and get the news that actually matters.

How You Can be Part of It

We’re not building this alone — and we don’t want to.

If You’re a Writer — If you live this lifestyle and have a real point of view, we want to hear from you. Not surface-level opinions. Not what everyone else is saying. The job market is tough right now, and we know talented people are out there looking for the right fit.

If you’re a Brand or Agency — If you’re building a product, system, lifestyle or something real in health, wellness, endurance or performance, tell us.

  • Partnerships: We’ve got a ton happening and we want to elevate your brand in a way that makes sense to an audience that is performance and health focused.
  • Submit News: We’re intentional about what we cover, but if it matters, we’ll pay attention.

If You’re a Reader — Don’t yet subscribe? Do so. Also, share this with 1 person who gets it. That’s how we grow.

Or when all else fails, reach out to me directly. scott@frontpacksports.com

Why Front Pack Media Exists

At the end of the day, this isn’t about becoming another media company. It’s about building the best space that our ecosystem of athletes deserves.

We’re here for the ones who don’t stop. The ones who care. The ones who want better, not more. The ones who want to be their best.

This is for you. And we’re just getting started.

Stay moving, — Scott
